Throughout my experience in Information Systems 130, I have gained a deeper understanding of how technology supports business operations, data analysis and decision making processes. Through personal  application of data organization and analysis, I learned how to effectively evaluate business processes and look into technology-based solutions.

While this course provided me with useful insights, I did face some challenges along the way. I struggled at first to understand database tasks and terminology, but by working through hands-on assignments and projects, I was able to gain confidence and improve my coursework throughout the semester. Being able to look back and see the growth in my abilities and makes me very proud of my development in this course. 

 

As I move forward in my academics and professional career, I know that I will apply the knowledge and skills I have gained from this course into my future endeavors, especially in areas that involve data, technology and organizational improvements. By being able to practice technical skills in this course, I feel more confident going forward as I look to implement these practices into my future career.
