OLAP: Pivot Tables with MS Excel
This assignment focused on building and interpreting Pivot Tables and utilizing the tool in Microsoft Excel to support data-driven business decision-making. By working with dimensions, measures, slicers and sorting tools, I learned how to create multidimensional data structures to assist in performance visualization and answer business questions quickly and effectively.
Case Study Infographics
Infographics were geared towards real-world application of Information Systems concepts learned in the course. By seeing how real world businesses utilize data analysis and technology systems, I learned how impactful digital transformation is to various industries and that starting to practice these skills now will help me in my future academic and professional career.
Decision Support for Excel
This assignment allowed for the application of basic Microsoft Excel features in data analysis situations. The utilization of these techniques are essential for basic Microsoft Excel functions and business operations. I learned the importance of reiteration and how to analyze large sets of data by using Absolute Cell Reference and Decision Support Systems in Excel to assist in the process.
